to say a quick "hello"! Things are so busy here at the moment that I barely have time to breathe let alone blog! The kids are on the countdown to their summer holidays from school (2½ days to be precise!!) and my parents are here for a few days. The kids and I went down to them on the bus at the weekend so that we could come back here in the car with them ( daddy wanted a co-driver as he hasn't driven so far in a while). Life will slow down a little at the weekend and I hopefully will get caught up with you all then! Have a lovely week everyone!
The weather I wish we had...but don't!! LOL!!

Still 4 weeks of term left here with plenty of end of term stuff to cram in.
I'll happily send you 10 degrees of our excess heat from today - was about 30 here and far too hot.
I know what you mean Catherine, life seems to speed up at this time of year! Love your deckchair pic! Thanks for your comments on Cushendun, we always have such a lovely time when we go there. Have a lovely time with your parents, I am sure the children will be pleased to have them to stay? Love Linda x
Saw your mum today- really should introduce myself as a slightly less maniacal woman than she may imagine!
I wondered where you were. Family is so fun and I bet your kids are happy about their holidays!
I had a mild panic when I read your post as thought I had misjudged when end of term was! For us we have another two weeks to go. Too hot by far here today. Thank heavens for electric fans. Have a nice time with your family.
June
Happy summer holidays to you all :D My kids have all moved on from school now and I find I kinda miss the flurry of fetes and fayres and sports and stuff that June and July once entailed. Enjoy it while it lasts!
It's not as busy here at the end of the school year now that my two are in secondary school. It always seemed so busy when they were in junior school though. We've got four weeks left to the end of school, though my son has finished already as he's just taken his GCSEs. Hope things calm down for you soon, and enjoy your time with your mum and dad.
